Passenger and crew Compliance (API PNR) Simplified for Skylegs Users

At Streamlane, we automate the submission of passenger and crew data to state authorities and help operators check travel authorization of their passengers with ease. In partnership with our tech collaborator Skylegs, we’ve recently upgraded our integration to make compliance management even more intuitive and efficient.

Thanks to the latest update, operators can now handle API PNR submissions, travel authorization checks, and sanction screenings seamlessly within the Skylegs interface—no need to switch platforms or dig through emails. In this post, we’ll walk you through the new features, how they work, and how to activate them.

Enhanced Two-Way Communication: We Bring Integration to the Next Level

Previously, Skylegs users received Streamlane’s message relative to their API PNR transmissions, boarding authorizations, and sanction list checks via email. The latest update introduces two-way data communication, allowing Streamlane’s feedback to appear directly within the Skylegs interface as color-coded dots with detailed hover messages. When all three services are activated, three distinct dots are displayed next to each passenger and in the flight overview.

Feature Overview: How It Works

In summary, the new features include:

Real-Time Status Updates – Instantly monitor of all services : API PNR transmissions, travel authorizations, and sanction screenings—all within the Skylegs platform.

Centralized Action Prompts – Receive clear, actionable next steps directly in your workflow, reducing the risk of missed compliance tasks.

Visual Indicators for Fast Action – Gain immediate insight through intuitive color-coded icons and hover messages, enabling faster decisions and minimizing delays.

GOVlink: API PNR Transmission

The first dot represents the submission of passenger and crew API/PNR data to state authorities. A green, orange, or red dot appears next to each passenger or in the flight overview, indicating the current status:

🟢 Green – Successfully sent or in progress

🟠 Orange – Requires manual push or pending departure

🔴 Red – Error requiring immediate attention

When hovering over a dot, a detailed status message appears, specifying whether the transmission is planned, successfully sent, awaiting departure, requires manual action, or encountered an error.

EUlink: Travel Authorization Checks

The second dot reflects the travel authorization and visa status for passengers and crew, including checks for the UK ETA, eVisa, and future eu-LISAs EES and ETIAS. The color of the dot indicates the outcome:

🟢 Green – All state authorities responded with an OK TO BOARD status

🔵 Blue – At least one authority issued an ADVISORY status (manual review required)

🔴 Red – At least one authority responded with a NOT OK TO BOARD status

Hovering over the dot reveals a breakdown of responses by state authority, along with icons:

✓ OK TO BOARD, ⚠ Advisory (manual check recommended), and ✖ Not OK to Board.

This gives operators instant clarity on each passenger’s status, reduces time spent on manual checks, and supports faster, more confident boarding decisions.

Sanctionlist: Passenger Screening

The third dot represents the Sanctionlist status, which screens passengers and crew against international sanctions databases. The dot color indicates the result:

🟢 Green – All individuals cleared

🟠 Orange – Potential match found

When hovering over an orange indicator, the matching rate is displayed directly in the message, giving operators a clear indication of how closely a flagged individual aligns with a sanctioned entity. This enables operators to act immediately—helping to identify sanctioned persons. Companies dealing with a sanctioned individual risk administrative closure.
