What is the APIS CARICOM ?
The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is a grouping of 20 countries : 15 Member States and 5 Associate Members. Except for Belize in Central America, and Guyana and Suriname in South America, all Members and Associate Members are island states.
CARICOM collaboration rests on four main pillars: economic integration, foreign policy coordination, human and social development and security.
On this last point, CARICOM has adopted the implementation of an API (Advanced Passenger Data) program since February 2007.
