Log-in, Password change and Authentification

Connection and Log-In

The Web portal log-in consists of a Two-Factor-Authentication secured process.

At connection time, the email and personal password is requested as well as a One Time Password (OTP). The OTP is a code randomly generated by an external system (currently Google Authenticator and Free OTP).

In order to be able to generate an OTP, the user must install on a personal computer or smartphone the corresponding tool (see below).

The authentication process requires the user’s identifier, the personal password and the OTP code generated for the session.

The user’s identifier is the email address.

A session timeout is put in place after 30 minutes if no action is taken in the gui, else an automatic log-out is put in place after 10 hours.

After clicking the Reset password button, an email is sent to the user with a link to validate the account.

The user will be asked to update the account within 12 hours and will be prompted for a new password when login-in.

If the account is not updated within 12 hours the Organisation administrator will need to reset the Password again.

After clicking the the Reset OTP button, an email is sent to the user with a link to validate the account.

The user will be prompted to reconfigure OTP authentication when clicking on the link.

The user must reinstall OTP by scanning the new QR code and completing the authentication process.
