What is the APIS CARICOM ?
The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is a grouping of 20 countries : 15 Member States and 5 Associate Members. Except for Belize in Central America, and Guyana and Suriname in South America, all Members and Associate Members are island states.
CARICOM collaboration rests on four main pillars: economic integration, foreign policy coordination, human and social development and security.
On this last point, CARICOM has adopted the implementation of an API (Advanced Passenger Data) program since many years (voted in 2009, implemented in 2016) .
